Frequently Asked Questions.
What services do you offer?
Eternal Youth By Renee Leith is a Brisbane cosmetic clinic offering a range of non-surgical treatments performed by a registered nurse. These include consultations for concerns such as facial volume changes, teeth grinding (bruxism), migraines, excessive sweating, and general skin health. Treatment options may include prescription-only procedures (following a consultation and script from a prescribing practitioner), Rejuran® polynucleotides, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) skin treatments, LED light therapy, skin needling in Brisbane, and chemical peels. We also stock Synergie Skin® products, which can be recommended after an in-person consultation.
What happens during a consultation?
At our Brisbane clinic, consultations involve a discussion about your treatment goals, medical history, and any questions you may have. A facial assessment may be performed to help determine suitable treatment options. We provide information on potential benefits, risks, costs, and alternative approaches so you can make an informed decision.
Is there downtime after treatment?
Downtime can vary depending on the treatment you have and individual factors. For example, some Brisbane skin treatments such as LED light therapy may allow you to return to daily activities straight away, while others like skin needling or chemical peels may involve temporary redness or peeling. This will be discussed with you prior to treatment, and personalised aftercare instructions will be provided.
Is LED light therapy suitable for everyone?
LED light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light. It may be suitable for various skin concerns, but outcomes can differ between individuals. Your suitability will be assessed during your consultation, and we will discuss potential risks or reasons it may not be recommended.
Are treatments painful?
You can book a consultation at Eternal Youth By Renee Leith by phone, email, or through our website booking form. We welcome clients from Brisbane and surrounding areas. Please note that a booking deposit may be required.
Are treatments safe?
All cosmetic treatments carry potential risks, which will be explained before you decide to proceed. At our Brisbane clinic, all procedures are performed by a registered nurse in collaboration with qualified prescribing practitioners, in accordance with TGA and AHPRA requirements. Only products and devices listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) are used.
Can I buy Synergie Skin® products online?
LED light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light. It may be suitable for various skin concerns, but outcomes can differ between individuals. Your suitability will be assessed during your consultation, and we will discuss potential risks or reasons it may not be recommended.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know as early as possible. Our cancellation policy requires at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid forfeiting your booking deposit. For more information, please see our cancellation policy on the website.
Can I have treatments if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Certain cosmetic treatments, including some skin treatments, are not recommended during pregnancy, in the three months before planned pregnancy, or while breastfeeding. We will discuss your individual circumstances during a consultation.
What should I do if I experience a problem after treatment?
If you experience unexpected symptoms after your treatment, contact us promptly using the details in your aftercare instructions. If urgent, seek immediate medical attention. At Eternal Youth By Renee Leith, we work closely with a network of doctors and nurse practitioners for advice when needed.
Will I bruise after treatment?
Bruising is a possible side effect of some procedures, such as skin needling or PRP in Brisbane. The likelihood and severity can vary from person to person. We’ll give you preparation tips and aftercare guidance to help minimise this risk. Bruising usually resolves within days to weeks, but contact us if you have concerns.
